GULF BREEZE, Fla. --- The University of West Florida women's soccer team remain undefeated after taking down Shorter, 5-0, in a home conference matchup.

The 5-neal win is the No. 4 ranked team's largest margin of victory this season and their third consecutive shutout. In the past three matches, the Argos have outscored their opponents 13-0.

Over Shorter, five different Argonauts scored – four of which were season-firsts.

Junior
Emma Beltz opened the game in the 10
th minute with a goal. Beltz managed to find the ball in the net in a chaotic box full of Argonauts and Hawks. This is her fourth goal of the season. She has scored a goal in four games in a row.

The momentum began to build for the team as four minutes later, another shot fell through.
Ahnalie Layman found
Kendall Blackmon in a set piece to bring the score to 2-0.

The final first half Argo goal was scored by
Destiny Hird. Around the 30-yard line, the Argo's were set up for a free kick directly in front of the box. Mamami Okada used the free kick as a shot but was blocked by the Hawks. The ricochet fell to Hird's feet as she soared a shot perfectly into the top right corner that was untouchable for the Hawks goalkeeper.

In the 49
th minute, UWF scored another goal off a set piece to extend the lead to 4-0.
Elexia Nelson took the corner kick that found
Isabela Labovic in the box who tapped it to
Jade Euell who sunk in the shot. A double assist was awarded to Nelson and Labovic.

The scoring was concluded in the 65
th minute when
Charline Favier drew a foul in the box and made the penalty kick.

UWF outshot the Hawks 21-1.
