PENSACOLA, Fla. – Redshirt senior
Mya Swinton scored a pair of goals on Sunday afternoon to lead the No. 18 University of West Florida women's soccer team to a 2-1 win over Auburn Montgomery.
Swinton scored her first goal in the 28th minute, assisted on by
Jillian Thompson and tallied her second goal in the 58th minute off the pass from
Isabela Labovic.
AUM got on the board in the 77th minute following a goal from Lala Gonzalez.
The Argos had 25 total shots in the contest and 13 on target.
Maciah Lipsey made two saves in net for UWF.
UWF (8-1-2, 6-0-1 GSC) have won three straight games and will travel to Tennessee to take on Christian Brothers on Friday at 5 p.m.
