Argos Finish Strong in Moultrie

Nelson Finishes First in 3M Finals

MOULTRIE, Ga -
The West Florida Women's Diving team finished their weekend strong in Georgia as the ladies competed in the 3 Meter finals on Sunday. Olivia Nelson held strong as the junior finished top of the podium again for the final day. 

Nelson earned herself top of the podium by outscoring the second place finisher of EMU by nearly 17 points. Nelson earned first place on 3 Meter after finishing with a final score of 245.00. Adriana Mieses-Sanchez earned third place on 3 Meter with her final score of 221.80. Connor Kilpatrick and Kendall Flury also earned another competition day in their first year as an Argo, placing 7th and 8th on 3M. 

From Coach Barb: "Today's 3 Meter event was more about focusing on skills and learning new dives. Both Connor and Kendall are new to our program and learned a lot this weekend. Our next goal is to start adding to our current list to up the difficulty in each meet moving forward."
