Box Score

PENSACOLA, Fla - The University of West Florida Men's Soccer team will travel to Huntsville, Alabama to compete in the GSC Semifinals after the Argos defeated Lee in the quarterfinal 1-0 last night at home.

How it Happened
The Argos started strong and almost took an early lead. A corner kick early in the half put Keegan Lynch on the back post, and Jaime Guillen served the ball in to find Lynch's head and bury the ball in the back of the net. With some smart defense, the Flames forced an offside call, reversing the play but giving the Argos a taste of what they were looking for.
With just five minutes left in the half, Co-Defensive Player of the Year Keegan Lynch used one of his defensive specialties, his long throw-in from Lee's defensive half. The throw from Lynch reached out the Lee keeper's hands and landed at the foot of Keegan Ancelin who finished the ball to put the Argos up in the 41st minute. The Argos went into the half out-shooting the Flames 7-2 with 45 to go.

The Argos went on to defeat the Flames 1-0, and advance to the GSC Semis after the final whistle blew. The Argos registered 13 shots with ten on goal and earned five corner kicks.
