UWF Peaks at Strong Time Before Conference

LEWISBURG, Pa - The University of West Florida Women's Swimming and Diving Team received votes in the latest ranking, and has moved up to #7 in this month's poll. The Argos who previously sat at #8, have made their way up in this past month, just before their NSISC Conference Championship at Delta State University.

Brooke Dorr earned her first Swimmer of the Month recognition whilst Jade Fontenelle earned her second recognition of Diver of the Month this season. Both ladies have held an important role in their teams successes this year.

Along with earning national ranking, the Argos were also named to the CSCCA Academic All American list with the Argos earning a 2.69 GPA in the Fall 2023 season. UWF received their 19th consecutive recognition for this award and were tied for 6th out of 73 in Division 2.

The Argos are headed to Cleveland, Mississippi to compete in the 2024 NSISC Conference Championships from Tuesday, February 20th to Saturday, February 24th in search of clincing their 5th straight conference title.
