LAKELAND, Fla. – Alia Scotka shot an even-par 72 to lead UWF on the final day of the Lady Moc Classic at the Grasslands Golf and Country Club on Tuesday.
Scotka ended the 2-day event in 27th place with a 76-79-72=227 in her first tournament of the Spring season.
No. 40 UWF scored a 313 to finish with a tournament-total of 927 and in 11th place. No. 1 Nova Southeastern won the team portion with an 882 effort.
Kenzie Heba also signed for three rounds in the 70s, ending the event with a 76-79-77=232 and in 44th place.
Alexandra Seppanen tied for 63rd position at 236, while
Kate Kenthack and
Millie Thompson tied for 76th at 240.
UWF will return to action March 10-12 at the Emerald Coast Classic, held at Baytowne Golf Club in Destin, Florida.
