Pensacola, Fla. - Lauren Patterson earned Gulf South Conference Freshman of the week for the week of October 30. This is the fourth time this season she has earned this award.

For the fourth time this season, Patterson earned GSC Freshman of the Week honors after claiming a share of 17th at the D2 Elite Invitational in Toccoa, Ga. The native of San Antonio, Texas shot 148 (+4) carding rounds of 70 and 78. She had par or better in 26 of the 36 holes during the two-round tournament. West Florida finished 11th in a competitive 18-team field, which included 14 ranked opponents.
