NCAA Diving Qualification List
INDIANAPOLIS, In - The NCAA Division || Swimming and Diving Championship committee released the 2024 swimmers and divers who qualified and will be competing in Geneva, Ohio for this year's national competition. 15 UWF Swimmers and all five of the UWF Divers clinched their spot in their respective races to race for a national championship. The Argos will begin competition on Tuesday, March 12th, and compete until Saturday, March 16th.Â
The 10 swimmers for UWF include
Nina Imboden,
Riley MacVane,
Sofia Kendzior,
Shannah Dillman,
Sydney Lewis,
Brooke Dorr,
Lutnya Bogdanova,
Emily O'Connell,
Aimee Patterson, and
Mikayla Puckett.Â
Sophomore Kendzior and freshman MacVane lead the Argos with three individual events each. Kendzior will compete in the 200 Free, 500 Free, and 1000 Free, and MacVane qualified for the 500 Free, 1000 Free, and 1650 Free. This will be Kendzior's second time in her two years at UWF, and MacVane makes her first appearance as a freshman for the Argos.Â

Brooke Dorr,
Nina Imboden, and
Sydney Lewis will all compete in two races for the Argos. After coming in first in both the 200 and 400 IM, Dillman will make her second year in a row appearance for the Argos in Geneva. Senior
Brooke Dorr will make her first NCAA appearance in her career as the Lynn Haven native will compete in the 200 Free and 100 Fly. Dorr earned her 200 Free time from her opening 800 Freestyle Relay. Nina Imbodem broke her school record during the NSISC Championships this year in the 200 Back as the sophomore swam a 1:57.67 in the prelims and a 1:57.74 in the finals. Imboden will also compete in the 100 Back and earn herself a bid to NCAA's for the second year in a row. Freshman
Sydney Lewis is also making a big impact in her first year as an Argo. The freshman earned two individual races for herself. Lewis will swim in the 100 Fly and the 50 Free as she placed third in both the 100 Fly and 50 Free at NSISC's.
Lutnya Bogdanova will compete in the 100 Fly for the Argos as the sophomore swam a time of 55.44.
Emily O'Connell will also compete in the 100 Fly as she earned her spot with a time of 54.59.
Aimee Patterson and Mikayla will swim in their respective relays as both seniors earned a B-Cut time for NCAA's.
For the divers, this will be the first time that all five of Coach Barb's divers earned an NCAA Qualifying Score.
Jade Fontenelle,
Olivia Nelson,
Tayler Graham, Gabby McDougall, and
Adriana Mieses-Sanchez will all compete on the boards to see who will advance to the 1-meter and 3-meter boards.Â
All five divers had an exceptional conference this year. On 3-meter,
Jade Fontenelle placed at the top of the podium with a final score of 513.50 which scores higher than the NCAA D2 record set in 2011. Fontenelle will also compete in the 1-meter diving trials as she makes her second appearance at NCAA's in her two years at UWF. Freshman
Tayler Graham took home the first-place title on 1-Meter in her first conference championship as an Argo. Graham had a final score of 447.70, and will also compete in both 1 and 3-meter diving. Gabby McDougall makes her first appearance at NCAA's as the junior earned her spot in the 1-meter diving with her final score of 393.35.Â
The NCAA Qualifier and the 800 Free Relay will take place on March 12th. Championships will be held from the 12-16th at the SPIRE Aquatics Center in Geneva, Ohio.Â
