LAKELAND, Fla. – The UWF women's golf team finished regular-season play at the Lady Moc Classic 2.0 on Tuesday, posting a 13th-place finish at The Club at Eaglebrooke.
UWF compiled a 54-hole score of 311-298-307=916 in its final tune-up before the Gulf South Conference Championships in three weeks.
Sophomore
Isabella Yu Lee and junior
Alia Scotka were the top two performers for the Argos, finishing in the top 40 of the 93-player field. Yu Lee tied for 32nd at 76-74-77=227 for her best score and finish in her two seasons of college golf. Scotka tied for 37th after using a 76 to register a 228 tourney total, which included a team-high 10 birdies in her three rounds.
Senior
Kate Kenthack matched Scotka with a 76 on Tuesday, as she moved up six spots into 54th position at 79-75-76=230. Junior
Kenzie Heba had a team-best 33 pars on her way to a tie for 64th at 79-74-79=232 and sophomore
Millie Thompson was 76th at 236.
The GSC Championships will be held April 21-24 in Valdosta, Georgia at Kinderlou Forest Golf Course.
