BOCA RATON, Fla. --- The University of West Florida women's soccer team took a 2-0 win on the road against No. 21 Lynn, Friday night.

Led by
Megan Gettys and
Emma Beltz, the Argos (2-0-1) remain undefeated while giving ranked Lynn (2-1) their first loss of the season.

After a two-hour plus rain delay, the Argos made it out onto the pitch. Gettys scored the opening goal of the game and her second of the season just before the conclusion of the first half. Forward, Beltz, was awarded the assist.

In the 75th minute, the duo did it again with Getty's assisting Beltz for her first season goal and bring the lead to 2-0.

Maciah Lipsey got her third consecutive win and shutout in the net. Lipsey recorded two saves.

UWF outshot the Fighting Knights 20-4 and hit eight on frame.

The Argos will finish non-conference play at Flagler on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 12 PM ET/ 11 AM CT.
