MCCORMICK, S.C. – The University of West Florida women's golf team took fifth place out of 15 teams at the Savannah Lakes Invitational hosted by Lander University. The Argos shot a team score of 901 (+37).

Alia Scotka led the way for UWF with an even par 216 over the three rounds. The senior shot an even 72 on each round to claim a third-place individual finish.

Lee University won the invitational with an 11-over 875 team score.

UWF will travel to Achasta Golf Club in Dahlonega, Ga. on Oct. 7 and 8 for the LeeAnn Noble Memorial.
