PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Argos faced Middle Georgia State University in a non-conference match on Tuesday evening, beating the Knights 3-1.
UWF had a strong presence throughout all 90 minutes. The team found the back of the net three times in the first half and managed to keep the Knights from scoring only once.

Marianna Camacho Montufar assisted
Rece Grant to find the back of the net, securing the win for the Argos. This is Grants first goal of the season and Camacho Montufars first assist of the season.
Megan Gettys scored her second goal of the season in the 37
th minute to secure the Argos win. Grant recorded the assist. Gettys had four shots, with two on goal.
Belle Okoroafo recorded the win. The Argos outshot the Knights 15-4, with 9-3 on goal. The team also produced seven corners.
The UWF Women's Soccer team returns to the UWF Soccer Complex on Friday to play Union (Tenn.) at 7:30 p.m.
