PENSACOLA, Fla. - Marcus Stokes and Michael Shine earned Gulf South Conference weekly honors following Saturday's 23-16 win over West Alabama. 

Stokes earns his third straight GSC Offensive Player of the Week award as he threw for 327 yards in the Argonauts 23-16 win at No. 8 West Alabama. He tossed for two touchdowns while completing 24-of-36 passes and notched his fourth game this season with 300+ passing yards.

Shine had five punts totaling 195 yards with two pinning UWA inside its own 20 and averaged 39 yards per punt had registered a long of 55 yards. This marks his second consecutive GSC Special Teams Player of the Week award.
