The UWF women's basketball team delivered an electric performance winning against the Tuskegee Tigers 75–69 in a overtime showdown.
The game started with Tuskegee controlling the pace, pushing ahead by 10 in the first half. Arianna Durell was the head of the Tigers, drilling multiple threes and slicing into the lane to fuel the Tigers' lead.
But the Argos stormed out of halftime with renewed fire. Freshman sharpshooter Chloe Galombeck ignited the comeback, knocking down three triples to swing the momentum. The third quarter turned into a tug-of-war, featuring four score ties, but UWF refused to back down—outscoring Tuskegee by eight to take control heading into the last stretch.
In the fourth, the dynamic duo of Amelia Bell and Isabel Grimes took center stage. Grimes attacked the paint with strength, converting tough and-one opportunities, while Bell dominated down low with powerful post moves and an unstoppable drop step. With just one second left and the game tied, Tuskegee fouled Grimes, sending her to the line with 0.4 seconds remaining. Both free throws narrowly missed, pushing the battle into overtime.
Once the extra period began, it was all Isabel Grimes. She took over offensively, relentlessly attacking the rim and drawing fouls as the Argos pulled away. UWF outscored Tuskegee 14–8 in the extra period, sealing the victory.
