CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Seven players scored in double figures on Saturday afternoon as a balanced scoring attack led the University of West Florida men's basketball team to an 84-71 win over Lee.
Shay Davis came off the bench to lead the Argos with 15 points.
UWF dominated the second half of play and built a 25-point lead with five minutes to go in the game. The Argos used an 18-2 run that spanned nearly six minutes midway through the second half to build the sizeable lead.
West Florida's defense forced 16 turnovers that resulted in 23 points for the Argos. UWF also took advantage of a poor shooting night for Lee. The host team shot 36.5-percent from the floor.
UWF (6-16, 5-11 GSC) will host Mississippi College on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the UWF Fieldhouse.
