LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association released its list of players named to the 2025 NFCA Division II Player and Pitcher of the Year Watchlist, and three Argos found their names in play. 
 
Gianna Guerriero, Haley Guffey, and Hannah Harper were three of the 116 names that made the list for the 2025 season. There are 15 total players from the NCAA DII South Region featured.
 
The awards are voted on by the NFCA's DII All-American committee, and the winners are announced on May 30 after the DII Softball National Championships have concluded. 
 
Guerriero leads the nation with eight triples on the season and is second in runs (34) and third in hits (49). Her .426 batting average is second on the team and sixth in the GSC. She also leads the conference with a perfect 27 for 27 stolen base mark, tied for 10th nationally. 
 
Guffey is tied for first in the GSC with 14 wins and first with six shutouts. Her 2.00 ERA is sixth in the conference among all pitchers and first in innings pitched at 126. Her 79 strikeouts on the season are also seventh overall in the GSC. 
 
Harper's contributions in the circle, at the plate, and at first base earn her a spot on the watchlist. The junior holds a 9-2 record and a 3.24 ERA on the season. She is 3^rd on the team in batting average (.384) and RBI, and second in hits and doubles. She is also 13^th in putouts in the GSC with 144.
