MOBILE, Ala. --- The University of West Florida baseball team (20-13, 14-7) fell 7-3 to Spring Hill in Tuesday night's road game. This is the programs' second competition this season. Spring Hill (25-9, 18-2 SIAC) took victories in both games.

The team's take on one another one final time in the 2025 regular season April 15 at Jim Spooner Field.

After opening the game with two scoreless innings, UWF tallied two runs in the third frame to get on the board first.
Alex Urias opened with a single and followed with a stolen base to second.
Brantley Willis, who leads the team offensively with a .389 batting average, hit an RBI double down the left line to bring Urias home. Willis capped the inning with a run scored on a wild pitch.

The Badgers scored six straight runs to take the lead by four.

Jadon Fryman closed the gap by one a run on an RBI single in the top of the eighth.

The Badgers followed with a sacrifice fly in their offensive appearance in the eighth to bring to score back to a four-run difference.

UWF was unable to grab any runs in the final inning and fell 7-3.

Willis and
Ben Maskin combined for four hits – half of the Argos hits in Tuesday's contest.

The Argos will continue road contests and will head to Cleveland, Tenn to take on Lee in a three-game conference series. The series will begin Friday, April 4 at 5:00 p.m. ET and will follow with a Saturday double header beginning at 1:00 p.m. ET.
