CLEVELAND, Miss. – In the first conference match of the season, the University of West Florida women's soccer team played a tough match against Delta State on Friday afternoon, ending with a 0-0 draw.
 
Gulf South Conference Goalkeeper of the Week, Belle Okoroafo, played a major role in keeping the Lady Statesmen from scoring. Okoroafo was able to save all five of the Lady Statesmen's shots on goal.
 
UWF produced seven corners and 10 shots. Olof Thorvaldsdottir led with five shots, and Kaitlyn Herb followed with two.
 
The Argos (3-0-2, 0-0-1 GSC) will play again on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Mississippi College.
