MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of West Florida men's basketball team knocked off Christian Brothers, 72–60 on Thursday night at Canale Arena. The Argonauts move to 13–3 overall and 6–2 in league play with the win.
Shahar Lazar provided a major spark off the bench, leading all scorers with 19 points on a strong 8-of-11 shooting performance, including three from deep
Anthony Igiede logged 17 points while adding six rebounds, two steals, and a block.
Tim Hall Jr. followed with 16 points and five rebounds, shooting 6-of-10 from the field.
West Florida finished the night with 28 bench points and capitalized on turnovers, scoring 20 points off giveaways while holding Christian Brothers to 30.6 percent shooting from the field. The Argonauts were also perfect at the free-throw line in the second half, going 9-for-9 to seal the road win.
