UWF Baseball and Softball Receive Facility Upgrades

PENSACOLA, Fla. – UWF Athletics has completed a series of facility upgrades at both Jim Spooner Field and the UWF Softball complex, enhancing the student-athlete experience while improving game-day operations, technology, and fan engagement.

"These upgrades represent our continued commitment to providing first-class facilities for our student-athletes while enhancing the overall game-day experience," said UWF Deputy Athletics Director Tony Nguyen. "From improved lighting and sound to advanced video analytics, these enhancements position our programs well for continued success."

Both facilities received new LED lighting systems as well as new sound systems, modernizing each venue and creating a more dynamic atmosphere for games and events. AWRE AIR, a multi-camera HD video system, has been installed to automatically record games, practices, and other on-field activities, as well as provide official replay review.
