PENSACOLA, Fla. – The UWF women's swim and dive team continues to lead the NSISC Championship by 319 points. Delta State follows in second with 250 points.
The Argos started finals off with a strong first and second-place finish in the 1000 Free.
Riley MacVane came in first with a time of 10:09.67, and
Sofia Kendzior followed with a time of 10:15.46. MacVane earned an NCAA B cut with her time.
Livia Rodrigues broke a freshman record with her first-place finish in the 200 IM. She finished with a time of 1:59.85. This time earns her an NCAA B cut.
Hollace Stokes, who came in second, earned an NCAA B cut with her time of 2:04.55.
Agata Naskret came in first in the 50 Free with a time of 22.77.
Alena Rozova finished with a time of 23.53. Both Naskret and Rozova earned NCAA B cuts.
In the 200 Medley, Naskret, Rozova, Rodrigues, and Stokes broke a team record with their time of 1:40.61 and earned an NCAA B cut.
The team competes tomorrow in prelims at 10 a.m. UWF diving will compete in the 3 Meter dive event tomorrow, with prelims at 12:30 p.m.
