PENSACOLA, Fla. — The University of West Florida Argonauts defeated the Christian Brothers Buccaneers 7-0 on Saturday at the Ralph "Skeeter" Carson Tennis Complex. The Argonauts swept all six singles matches and secured the doubles point with victories at all three positions.

West Fla. secured the doubles point with a strong showing at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. Sophie Smith and Kylie Kochis won by default at No. 2 doubles, while Alberte Jorgensen and Aline Midori Da Silva also won by default at No. 3 doubles. The No. 1 doubles match saw Carlota Verdu and Sandra Recuenco dominate with a 6-1 victory over Valerie Neumann and Fernanda Galvez of Christian Bros.

In singles play, the Argonauts continued their momentum with Alberte Jorgensen earning a swift 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles over an absent opponent. Kochis followed suit at No. 4 singles, also winning 6-0, 6-0 by default. Ansley Minnich made it three consecutive defaults with a victory at No. 5 singles. 

Verdu provided a hard-fought win at No. 1 singles, defeating Valerie Neumann 6-2, 3-6, 7-6(6), while Recuenco claimed a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 2 singles over Fernanda Galvez. Manuela Dejean closed out the day with a default win at No. 6 singles, completing the Argonauts' sweep with a final score of 7-0.
