JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — West Florida lost to North Florida 3-1 on Saturday. West Florida totaled 10 shots and scored once in the second half, but North Florida finished with a 13-10 shot edge and a 7-2 advantage in shots on goal.
First Half
- West Florida generated early pressure with shots by
Nikolas Rodriguez Alzate and
Andrey Gentil around a corner kick in the first four minutes, then added another corner and Gentil attempt by 16:52.

Tomas Valles Gilbert saved Kaiss Mansouri's shot at 23:29, and West Florida came back with
Adrian Rodriguez's shot on goal at 29:50 before earning a corner at 31:03.
- North Florida put together four shots and a corner between 33:54 and 39:32, with Valles Gilbert saving Mark Romano's effort during that stretch, before Romano scored at 44:47 to give North Florida a 1-0 halftime lead.
Second Half
- North Florida pushed early with two corners and two shots, including a Tarik Freire attempt saved by Valles Gilbert, before Mikhail Keise scored at 53:10 to make it 2-0.
- West Florida answered at 61:54 when
Jonas Grauer scored off an assist from Gentil, cutting the deficit to 2-1.
- West Florida generated four shots between 68:50 and 77:47 but did not score during that stretch.
- North Florida added a Mark Romano goal at 82:07 to make it 3-1, and the match finished at that score.
Grauer scored West Florida's goal on his only shot. Gentil recorded the assist and led West Florida with three shots. Valles Gilbert made four saves over 90 minutes in goal, with two saves in each half.
West Florida is 1-3-0 overall and 1-2-0 in conference play. North Florida is 5-3-1 overall and 3-0-0 in conference play.
