PENSACOLA, Fla. – The UWF men's soccer team pulled off an impressive 3-0 win over Florida Gulf Coast Saturday evening at their first official home game.
The first half was a fight for possession from both teams. The first half ended in a 0-0 tie. The Eagles had more possession than the Argos throughout the first 45 minutes.
Going into the second half, the Argos had aggressive energy and quickly scored in the 49
th minute.
Nikolas Rodriguez Alzate scored his first goal of the season.

th minute.
To finish the game,
Adrian Rodriguez was able to put one more goal on the board after getting a breakaway from the Eagles' defenders.
The Argo defense was key to getting the team's first win. They were able to clear the ball when the Eagles had a chance of scoring.
The Argos travel to Stetson on Saturday, September 12.
