2009: Compiled an 0-1 record with a 7.20 ERA in 15 innings of work in his freshman season... Struck out 13 batter and held opponents to a .293 batting average against him... Tossed a season high five shutout innings of relief work in a 6-8 loss to Saint Leo (3/17)... Took the loss in his first career start against Arkansas Tech, striking out a season high four batters while allowing just one earned run in 4.1 innings in the 2-0 loss (3/24)...

High School: Graduated in 2007...Played under Coach Jeff Perez...Lettered three years for varsity baseball.

Club: Played for Central Florida Black Racers under Coach Jared Goodwin.

Personal: Son of Terry and Paula Nuxol...Older sisters Sara and Lisa...His older sister Sara plays basketball at Samford University... Plans on coaching baseball or becoming an Athletic Director after graduation.
