2009: Ended his freshman season with a 5-3 record with a 4.14 ERA in 41.1 innings of work on the mound... Struck out 40 batters while holding opponents to a .272 average against him... Tallied three saves on the season.. Tossed three scoreless innings, allowing just one hit in his first collegiate appearance to pick up the three inning save against Rollins (2/1)... Threw five strong innings allowing just one run on two hits while striking out a season high eight batters to picked up his first collegiate win in his first start of the season against Belmont Abbey (3/11)... Earned the win at North Georgia by tossing six strong innings while striking out six in the 10-5 victory (3/31)...

High School: Earned three letted in baseball at Pace HS... Compiled a record of 27-3 in three years as a starter... Earned second team All-State honors his junior year... Won a Florida State Championship while attending Pace HS

Personal: Son of Jim and Julie Sorce... Has an older brother Chris..Enjoys hanging out with friends, going to the beach, baseball and attending church...After college Ryan plans to become a physical therapist and start a family.
