Biography

2008:  Started 14 games for the Argonauts...Was 8-4-2 with four shutouts and 57 saves on the season... finished the season with 16 goals against for a 1.12 GA average...Received back-to-back GSC Defender of the Week honors (9/9, 9/16)... Named to the All-GSC First Team and NSCAA/adidas All-South Region First Team...Recorded a season high nine saves twice, once in a 2-0 win over Rollins (9/12) and in the GSC Championship Match over Montevallo 2-0 (11/9)...Recorded shutouts against St Leo (9/5), Rollins (9/12), Delta State (10/19 and Montevallo (11/9).

Troy: Olmstead played football for the Trojans for two seasons. In 2004 he was named as an All-American in football for holding an average punt of 43.1 yards in 76 attempts. His longest punt of his career was 73 yards in 2004. In 2006 he participated in the Senior Bowl. While at Troy he was named to the All-Conference team three years in football. Olmstead also pitched on the Trojans baseball team for one season.

High School: Lettered all four years in soccer, football, and baseball... Named to All-State three years in football... Named to All-State team in baseball.

Personal: Son of Frank and Anne Olmsted... Has three siblings, Mike, Frank, and Sarah... Majoring in marketing/sales... Plans to pursue a master's degree after graduation.
