Lauren Clifford joined the Univeristy of West Florida women’s swimming and diving program as a graduate assistant coach in 2013. Clifford, originally from Pollock Pines, Calif., came to UWF after competing at Northwestern University for one year and Texas A&M University for two years.
At Northwestern, Clifford ranked on the team’s top times list in four events and was a College Swimming Coaches Association of America Scholar All-American honorable mention in 2012. She ranks fourth all-time on NU’s all-time top times list in the 400 IM, after finishing 14th overall in the 400 IM at the Big Ten Championships.
Clifford also qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials in 2008 and again in 2012.
