Biography
2014-15: Ranked in the team’s top 10 in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:09.13), 200-yard breaststroke (2:29.00) and 200-yard individual medley (2:15.93).
2013-14 NSISC Scholar Athlete
2013-14: Finished 6th in 200 Breast at NSISC Championships… finished 8th in 100 Breast at NSISC Championships (1:08.55)… part of the first relay event win in program history in the 400 Medley (Oct. 18 in Birmingham, Ala.).
High School: Swam for four years at Huntsville High School… lettered her freshman year… personal records in high school: 100 yard breaststroke: 1:07.26, 200 yard breaststroke: 2:28.11, 200 yard IM: 2:10.95, 100 yard backstroke: 1:00.58, 50 yard butterfly: 26.4… led her team to the North Alabama championship in 2012 … placed third at the Alabama State Championships in the 100 yard breaststroke in 2012… fourth place in the state in the 200 yard IM in 2012.
Personal: Daughter of Kurt and Noreen Starck… has one sister, Jacqueline… majoring in chemistry and exercise science... member of the National Honor Society (2011-2013) and the Spanish National Honor Society (2010- 2011) … hopes to attend medical school after graduation… enjoys singing, reading, music, dancing and water sports.
