Becca Acevedo joined the Argonaut volleyball staff in the summer prior to the 2016 season as a graduate assistant.
Acevedo comes to UWF after four years as a student-athlete at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she was a three-time AVCA All-American, a three-time Independents Collegiate Athletic Association Setter of the Year, and led the Sailfish to three NCAA Regional appearances. She was also a three-time AVCA All-Region first team performer, and was a Daktronics All-Region first team selection twice.

Acevedo brings five years of coaching experience to UWF, having spent two years coaching youth volleyball with the Tribe Volleyball Club, two years at the Miami Elite Volleyball Club, including a stint as the Future Stars Director with the club this spring, and a year as the assistant varsity coach at Westminster Christian School. She was also an associate camp director for PBA's volleyball camps in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
