PENSACOLA, Fla. - The No. 20-ranked University of West Florida volleyball team fell to North Alabama 2-3 (28-30, 25-15, 15-25, 24-26, 15-13) in the Gulf South Conference Tournament Championship at home on Sunday. West Florida (28-6, 19-1 GSC) had nine service errors and had a .185 team attacking percentage in the loss.

Kathryn Torre (Highland, Ill./State College of Florida) and sophomore
Monique StCyr (Williamsburg, Va./Jamestown HS) were named to the GSC Volleyball All-Tournament team for their efforts over the weekend.
Torre led UWF offensively with 13 kills at a .265 clip and added four blocks in the loss. StCyr had 47 assists, 18 digs, one block, one service ace and seven kills (.429) on Sunday.
Sophomore
Rachel Neblett (Austin, Texas/Vista Ridge HS) had 11 kills at a .333 clip with six blocks while junior
Corisha Smith (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman HS) had 10 kills and a team-high six blocks. Junior
Cora Bidlack (Randolph, N.J./Randolph HS) tallied 12 kills and three blocks in the loss.

Tori Martella (Jacksonville, Fla./Providence HS) had 22 digs and eight assists on Sunday. Senior
Colleen Starrs (West Bloomfield, Mich./Walled Lake Central HS) tallied 13 blocks and a service ace in her final match of her career at the UWF Field House.
West Florida will look to next compete in the NCAA DII South Regional on December 3-5. The tournament host and the final selections for the south regional will be announced on the NCAA DII Women's Volleyball Selection Show on Monday, November 23 at 6:30 p.m. CT.
No. 6 Tampa (24-5, 15-1 SSC) receives the automatic bid from the Sunshine State Conference after finishing atop the conference standings in the regular season. Kentucky State (25-12, 19-1 SIAC) earns the auto bid from the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference after defeating Albany State 3-1 in the conference tournament championship on Friday. Tampa, Kentucky State and North Alabama will be joined by five at-large bids that will represent the south region at the NCAA DII South Regional.
