Game Notes: Argos head to No. 28 UWG for GSC series

UWF looks to gain ground in GSC standings

CARROLTON, Ga. - The West Florida baseball team travels to Carrolton, Ga. to play No. 28 West Georgia in a series that was moved up one day in an attempt to avoid poor weather in the forecast.

The Argonauts (15-9, 9-6) play the Wolves (17-7, 11-4) in a single game Friday, March 20, at 6 p.m. ET. The teams will conclude the series with a doubleheader Saturday, March 21, at noon ET.

UWF, which received votes in the latest Collegiate Baseball national poll, dropped out of the national rankings for the first time this season. The Argos still have two series against nationally-ranked opponents on the schedule: No. 28 UWG and No. 30 West  Alabama April 18-19.

GSC Schedules

First place Alabama Huntsville has had two games canceled and one finish in a tie, third place West Alabama has only had to cancel one GSC game and fourth place North Alabama has had to cancel four GSC games.
