PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of West Florida volleyball team will wrap up the regular season this weekend with two Gulf South Conference opponents on the road with North Alabama and Alabama Huntsville. UWF will play UNA on Friday at 6:00 p.m. before traveling to Huntsville, Alabama to play UAH at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

PLAYOFF IMPLICATIONS
- West Florida has secured a spot in the GSC Tournament for the 14th consecutive season, good for the second longest active streak in the GSC behind North Alabama who has clinched its 35th consecutive appearance.
- Should UWF win both of its matches this weekend, the Argos would clinch its seventh first-place finish in program history. West Florida would also host the semifinals and finals of the GSC Tournament next weekend.

REGIONAL RANKINGS
- West Florida jumped up two spots to No. 4 in the NCAA South Region rankings on Wednesday. UWF is currently the highest ranked GSC club.
- The ranking for UWF is its highest since entering the 2012 tournament as the South Region's No. 2 seed.
-  Palm Beach Atlantic, Saint Leo and Tampa take up the top three spots. North Alabama and Shorter are other GSC clubs appearing the rankings, at No. 6 and No. 8, respectively.

WEEK OF SWEEPS
- After dropping back-to-back GSC contests for the first time since 2014, UWF responded with a perfect week last week by sweeping Valdosta State, Union and Christian Brothers.
- 14 of UWF's 22 wins have come in sweeping fashion this year, accounting for 63.6% of wins this year.

THREE FOR ME
- Senior libero Tori Martella earned her third GSC Defensive Player of the Week honor of the year after recording 44 digs in nine sets last week. It is also the fourth GSC Defensive Player of the Week award of her career.
- Martella is the only player in the conference this year to win GSC Defensive POTW three times this year. She is one of two players in the conference to win any POTW award three times, as UNA's Natasha Fomina has won Offensive Player of the Week three times this year.
- Martella leads the GSC with 4.96 digs per set this season, and has 546 digs on the year.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
- Freshman outside hitter Jordyn Poppen earned GSC Freshman of the Week honors after posting 23 kills and a .278 hitting percentage in UWF's 3-0 week last week.
- Poppen is the first UWF player to win GSC Freshman of the Week since her teammate Rachel Neblett did in 2014.
- Poppen posted a season-high eight kills to go along with a .353 hitting percentage in a 3-0 win over Christian Brothers on Sunday.

DUAL THREAT
- Kathryn Torre and Rachel Neblett currently sit first and fourth in the GSC, respectively, with hitting percentages of .361 and .348.
- Should Torre finish the season as the GSC's hitting percentage leader, she'd be the first Argonaut since Lindsay Homme in 2011 to lead the conference in hitting percentage.
- Should Torre and Neblett keep up their current paces, they would finish second and third in the UWF record book for single-season attack percentage.
- UWF has never finished a season where two players had hitting percentages north of .302.
- 2007 is the only season where UWF had two players on the roster hit above .300, when Isabela Gualberto (.333) and Luciana Rapach (.301) both did so.
- Adding in Corisha Smith, who is ninth in the conference with a .296 hitting percentage, UWF is the only team in the GSC with three players inside the top 10 in hitting percentage.

CAN YOU DIG IT?
- Senior Tori Martella claimed the UWF all-time digs record last Friday in a loss against Shorter, recording 30 digs. Those 30 were the second-most the Jacksonville native has posted this season, and it was just the seventh 30-dig performance in program history. Last year, Martella set UWF's single-season digs record with 576, and has 502 so far in 2016.

UWF CAREER DIGS RECORD
1,793- Tori Martella (2013-present)
1,706 - Jerica Carter (2005-2008)
1,519 - Autumn Duyn (2011-2015)

ANOTHER RECORD? SURE, WHY NOT?
- With 546 digs on the year, Martella is just 26 digs away from setting a new single-season record at UWF. Martella would break her own record of 572, which she set last year.

MONIQUE STCYR SET A RECORD
- Just a day after Martella set the digs record, junior Monique StCyr helped her way to the UWF all-time assists record by surpassing Madeline Gonzalez's (2007-2008) 2,926 assists. StCyr's 1,179 assists in 2015 were the fourth most in a single season by a UWF player, and her 976 this season is already the sixth most in a single season at UWF. Including this year, StCyr has posted three of the top 11 assists marks in single-season UWF history, and her 976 assists this year rank sixth in the UWF record books. StCyr set the all-time mark on her 16th assist against Lee on Saturday.

3,009 - Monique StCyr (2014-present)
