BOX SCORE DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The No. 4-ranked University of West Florida men's tennis team fell to Embry-Riddle 4-5 on the road Wednesday afternoon. West Florida (10-2, 5-0 GSC) drops its second straight road match after starting the season with 10 straight wins.

Pablo Borrero (Pereira, Colombia) and junior
Pablo Tellez (Bogota, Columbia) improved to 5-0 on the year by defeating Luke de Caires and Mickael Faucher 8-1 at number three doubles.
The No. 5-ranked doubles team of senior
Kenny Brasil (Apucarana, Brazil) and junior
Alex Peyrot (Castelnaudary, France) dropped to 10-2 on the year with a 5-8 loss to Juan Ortiz Couder and Deni Zmak win at number one doubles.
Senior
Juan Pablo Boada (La Paz, Bolivia) and junior
Pedro Roese (Novo Hamburgo, Brazil) fell to Carlos Becke and Fabian Zierleyn 3-8 at number two doubles.
No. 11 Peyrot improved to 10-1 on the year by defeating Zierleyn by a score of 6-2, 5-7, 6-2 at number two singles.
No. 22 Brasil defeated Becke 6-2, 6-2 at number three singles while junior
Douglas Boe (Vinhedo, Brazil) improved to 10-1 on the year by defeating de Caires 6-2, 7-5 at number six singles.
Boada fell to Zmak 2-6, 6-3, 2-6 at number one singles while sophomore
Sebastian Sanchez (Bogota, Colombia) fell to Rodolfo Arreygue 6-0, 5-7, 2-6 at number four singles. Borrero fell to Ortiz Couder 2-6, 3-6 at number five singles.
West Florida will next face Florida Southern on Friday, March 18 at 2 p.m. before wrapping up the road trip on Saturday, March 19 against No. 26 Rollins at 10 a.m.
