ABOUT UWF
UWF enters the postseason with a 12-2-4 record on the season. The Argonauts most recently earned a spot in the Gulf South Conference Championship where they faced GSC foe, Christian Brothers. The match went into double overtime and then five rounds of penalty kicks before the Buccaneers were crowned the GSC title.

Backed by four All-GSC players, West Florida has numerous weapons at their disposal including GSC Player of the Year, Kainan Dos Santos. Dos Santos is one of the few weapons for the Argonauts as he leads the team and conference in goals (11), points (28), and shots (59). He earned All-GSC First Team honors for his second consecutive year and most recently received the GSC Player of the Year Award. Sophomore Keegan Ancelin joins Dos Santos as one of the leading scorers for the Argos with six goals, three assists, 15 points, and 27 shots. Ancelin received All-GSC Second Team honors after his efforts so far this season.

Freshman Fynn Geigle was named to the All-GSC First Team as he has been a major component of the Argonaut defense. The UWF backline has only allowed opponents 7.6 shots per game with a shot percentage of 0.088. Geigle is joined by senior captain Lucas Barankiewicz, Eduardo Quieroz, and Keegan Lynch, who have compiled for seven shutouts this season. Freshman Nicolas Meckien is in the net for the Argos as he has 28 saves and a GAA of 0.60 on the season.

In total as a team, the Argos have outshot their opponents 263-136 and have a shot on goal percentage of 0.156. West Florida is one of two GSC teams to make it to the tournament this year.

SCOUTING ROLLINS
The No. 5 seed Tars (10-4-2) have won ten games in a season for the first time since 2018 as they enter the first round NCAA match against the Argos. As a member of the Sunshine State Conference, Rollins is one of four teams to make it to the NCAA tournament with the likes of Florida Tech, Barry, and Tampa.
In the SSC Championship, the Tars lost to Nova Southeastern 1-0 in the quarterfinals. Rollins did not have a single shot in the second half because of the tough Sharks defense. This is the first NCAA tournament appearance the Tars have made since 2015.

Forward Georgios Koliniatis has been a crucial weapon to the Tars offense as he took home SSC Player of the Year honors with Jari Polm and Maximillian Obermeier earning first and second team conference awards. Koliniatis has led the conference and team in goals (18) with four game-winning goals in 2022. Polm is at the helm from midfielder position with 1100 registered minutes. He recorded one goal, two assists, four shots, and seven points on the season. Obermeier is between the posts for the Tars as he tallies 55 saves and posted three shutouts.

Head coach Keith Buckley is the winningest coach in Tars history and enters into his 32nd season at the helm of the Tars program. In his time at Rollins, he has won five SSC Coach of the Year honors and three NSCAA South Region Coach of the Year Awards.

UWF vs. ROLLINS HISTORY
In their last matchup in early September, Jack Patching had his first goal of the season against the Tars to equalize the score 1-1 in the 31st minute. The Argos fell 2-1 to the Tars as Patrick Horan punched in the game-winning goal to defeat UWF in the 81st minute.
