PENSACOLA, Fla. – The 21st-ranked UWF baseball team will take its first place position in the Gulf South Conference on the road for the second-consecutive week when it faces West Alabama for a 3-game series this weekend. The teams will play a single game at 1 p.m. on Saturday and a doubleheader at Noon on Sunday at Tartt Field in Livingston, Alabama.
 
UWF enters with an 11-6 record and is 8-1 in the GSC, while UWA has struggled to a 5-15 mark and 3-3 in league play.
