CLINTON, Miss. - The UWF women's volleyball team suffered a 3-2 loss to Mississippi College at A.E Wood Coliseum on Saturday.
 Sophomore
Jacque Martin led UWF (12-4, 4-1 Gulf South) with 17 kills.
Avery Rodgers and
Camila Vazquez finished the match with 14 and 12 kills, respectfully.
UWF hit .230 and MC (13-1, 4-1) hit .285.
In the first set, the Argos had nine attack errors in a 25-12 setback. But they surged back in the second set as they stormed out to a quick 6-1 lead and never looked back as they went on to take the set 25-14.
Set three saw a very competitive back and forth contest that was tied at 24-24 a piece before the Argos would use a huge kills from
Alex Oliver and
Ana Oro to win the set 27-25.
The Lady Choctaws would go on to take the last two sets of the match to win the game 3-2.Â
The Argos return home on Friday for the annual Black Out Game. First serve against Alabama-Huntsville is set for 6 p.m. at the UWF Field House
