PENSACOLA, Fla. --- The University of West Florida baseball team heads on the road to take on No. 17 West Georgia in a three-game conference series in Carrollton, Ga. UWF is 19-14 overall and 10-8 in the GSC after taking a series win over No. 21 Montevallo.

The series will begin with a doubleheader at 1:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 6 and will conclude with the series finale at Noon ET on Friday, April 7.

Recap Against Montevallo
The Argos took the series 2-1 over the Falcons that included a seven-inning run rule game.
Trent Jeffcoat led the team offensively with five hits and four RBI, including a triple – his second of the season. UWF is hitting .293 as a group, with six players hitting .300 or better.

Kade Manderscheid pitched the deciding series game and got the win. He pitched his second complete game of the season and improved to 4-1.

The series win brought the Argos to No. 4 in the GSC standings. As Montevallo remains No. 1 in the Gulf South Conference, they also trail West Georgia and Valdosta State, who are two of three remaining GSC opponents to play in regular season.

The Wolves are No. 3 in the South Region Rankings and No. 17 in the nation. They are 25-7 overall and have a 13-5 conference record.
