Lakeland, Fla. - West Florida Women's Golf competed in the Lady Moc Classic, held at Grasslands Golf & Country Club in Lakeland, Florida, finishing in 13th place. The tournament, which took place on February 23, was characterized by cold weather conditions.
In the individual standings,
Samantha Schultz led the team by tying for 22nd place with a total score of +14, carding rounds of 81, 76, and 73.
Millie Thompson closely followed, tying for 28th place with a score of +15 after rounds of 77, 76, and 78.
Isabela Urruchua ended tied for 42nd with a +18, recording rounds of 77, 84, and 73.
Holland Davidson and
Lauren Patterson completed the lineup, tying for 82nd and 84th, respectively, with scores of +31 and +32.
Overall, West Florida posted team scores of 317, 314, and 303 across the three rounds, culminating in a total score of 937. Despite the challenging conditions, the team ultimately placed 13th in the tournament. The Argos will play next at the Emerald Coast Classic March 8-10 at the Baytowne Golf Club in Destin Florida.
