Pensacola Fla.- Kendrick Hernandez has been named the D2CIDA Men's Soccer National Player of the Week for his performance from September 29 to October 5. The senior powered the Argonauts to a 3-0-0 week, totaling 11 points on five goals and one assist.
Hernandez opened the week with a goal in the fifth minute and an assist in the 72nd minute of UWF's 5-0 win over Pensacola Christian. He then netted an 89th-minute insurance goal in a 2-0 victory over Lee before capping the week with a hat trick in just 23 minutes during a 4-0 win against Trevecca Nazarene, scoring in the 4th, 18th, and 23rd minutes. The forward finished the week with six shots—all on target—two game-winning goals, and an average of 54.6 minutes per match.
