BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Announced by the D2CCA, Jillian Thompson and Olof Thorvaldsdottir were named All-American Second Team. They are the programs' 31^st and 32^nd athletes to be named D2CCA All-Americans.
 
Thompson and Thorvaldsdottir are the only Gulf South Conference players to be awarded D2CCA All-American status this season.
 
In her sophomore year, Thompson was a key defender in keeping the Argos to a single-loss season. She played a total of 1,512 minutes and scored four goals. She started in 18 games this season.
 
In her first year as an Argo, Thorvaldsdottir led the Argos in goals (10), assists (8), and points (28). She was named D2CCA South Region Player of the Year and GSC Offensive Player of the Year.
