PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of West Florida head women's soccer coach,
Joe Bartlinski, has announced the team's 2026 schedule.
The Argos will play fifteen matches in their first season as an NCAA Division I institution, competing in the Atlantic Sun Conference.
The team opens the season at home against Alabama A&M on August 20 and the following week against McNeese on August 27.
The Argos are on the road all through September. They open their inaugural season of ASUN Conference play on September 24 against Stetson. The team returns home on October 1 to play North Florida.
"I am super excited about the new Division I era here at UWF," said head coach
Joe Bartlinski. "Looking forward to playing a whole different slate of games and stoked to test ourselves against one of the best conferences in college women's soccer."
The team is coming off a Gulf South Conference Championship title and NCAA Tournament berth in 2025.
The ASUN Conference Championship is set for November 5-13.
