PENSACOLA, Fla. – A limited field led to the Argos dominating at the Argonaut invitational Friday morning.
UWF men's cross country earned a perfect score in the men's 8K, placing runners in the top five spots in the race.
"We went into the race thinking about preparation for the rest of the season. There were things we wanted to work on, but most of all, we were striving for a perfect score on both sides. By that measure, we were very successful." Head coach
Caleb Carmichael said.
Junior
Carson King led the way for the men for a second straight race, finishing a tough UWF cross country course with a time of 27:11.80. The Panama City native improved his time from last year's argonaut invitational by over two minutes.

Xander McLaughlin placed second and third with times of 27:42.00 and 27:54.50 respectively.
Senior

Parker Hicks ran his first race at the UWF cross country course in an argonauts uniform and came away with a 28:11.40 time to place fifth.
Rounding out the finishers outside the top five, freshman
