Stokes earns NCBWA South Region Player of the Week

PENSACOLA, Fla. – Zack Stokes was named NCBWA South Region Player of the Week after earning conference honors earlier in the week.

Stokes powered the Argonaut offense throughout the weekend, delivering one of the most productive weekends in the conference. The junior outfielder hit .700 (7-for-10) with three home runs, nine RBIs, four runs scored, and a stolen base while slugging 1.600. He delivered multiple big moments, including a two-run homer and three RBIs in the series opener before exploding for a 3-for-3, six-RBI performance with two home runs in Sunday's 13–8 victory.

The Argos are back in action on Friday, February 6 where they open a three-game series with Rollins in Winter Park, Florida. First pitch is set for 1:00 p.m. Central Time. Live stats will be available on GoArgos.com.
