DAHLONEGA, Ga. — No. 1 University of West Florida (18-1, 6-0 GSC) dominated No. 14 University of North Georgia (10-6, 2-1 PBC) with a 7-0 victory on Monday. West Florida secured the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions and swept all six singles matches to complete the shutout.

Diego Duran and
Sebastian Rondon claimed a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles over Janos Varga and Pedro Liborio.
Rafael Sabio and
Goncalo Quintela followed with a 6-3 victory at No. 2 doubles against Juan Cruz Blanco and Ben Brandl. The No. 3 doubles match featuring
Vicente Couto and
Mateo Martinez against Franco Rebora and Marcos Castellanos was left unfinished with a score of 5-5.
In singles, the Argonauts maintained their momentum and swept all six matches. Rondon started the singles victories with a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles over Joao Luis Silva. Quintela extended the lead at No. 6 singles, defeating Varga 6-1, 6-4. Couto added another point at No. 4 singles with a 6-4, 6-3 win against Juan Cruz Blanco, pushing the dual score to 4-0 and clinching the overall match for West Florida.
The remaining singles matches continued in West Florida's favor. Sabio secured a 7-5, 7-6(2) victory at No. 5 singles over Rebora, while Duran triumphed at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 against Castellanos. Martinez closed out the sweep with a hard-fought 4-6, 7-5, 7-6 win at No. 3 singles over Brandl, finalizing the dual score at 7-0 in favor of West Florida.
