PENSACOLA, Fla. – For the second straight season
Cooper Tendick has been selected as an NCAA Division II PING All-American.
The eight-person All-America First Team was announced following the third round at the NCAA DII National Championship in Boulder City, Nev. last week. Tendick, a Jack Nicklaus NCAA DII National Player of the Year Finalist was one of six honorees from the South/Southeast Region.
The senior had seven top five finishes this year including the individual title at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Championship. Tendick shot a career best 15 under for the event. He recorded a 70.3 scoring average throughout the 12 tournaments played this season which was fifth best nationally.
Tendick was the UWF Male Athlete of the Year and was a Gulf South Conference Top Ten Award recipient.
