PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of West Florida volleyball program earned the 2026 American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award, the organization announced Thursday.

The award recognizes collegiate and high school volleyball programs that maintained a year-long team grade-point average of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale during the 2025–26 academic year. The Argos maintained a 3.47 GPA, making them one of 1,432 programs nationwide to receive the honor.

The recognition highlights the Argonauts' continued commitment to excellence in the classroom while competing at a high level on the court.

The AVCA Team Academic Award was established during the 1992–93 academic year and honors volleyball programs that demonstrate outstanding academic achievement throughout the school year.
