PENSACOLA, Fla. – University of West Florida head men's golf coach
Steve Fell has announced the team's 2026-2027 schedule.
The Argos will play in nine regular season tournaments as part of their first year at the NCAA Division I level leading up to the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship on April 20 held at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta, Ga.
"This is a historic day for our men's golf program revealing the first Division I schedule," said Fell. Over the past 30 years, we've built one of the nation's premier Division II programs, and that championship tradition has prepared us for this opportunity."
Under Fell's leadership UWF won three national championships at the DII level (2001, 2008, 2025) and 22 Gulf South Conference titles.
"Moving to Division I is an exciting challenge that will elevate every aspect of our program," Fell said. "We're proud of our history, but our focus is on the future. We look forward to competing against the nation's best and building a championship program at the Division I level."
