PENSACOLA, Fla. – UWF was selected eighth in the 2026 Atlantic Sun Conference Preseason Coaches Poll.
 
UWF received 13 votes in their first-ever ASUN poll.
 
The Argos are entering their first season in the ASUN. At the NCAA Division II level, UWF went 18-1-2 in 2025. The Argos won a national championship in 2012 and reached NCAA postseason play 22 times, including five straight seasons.
 
UWF kicks off the 2026 season on August 20 at 5 p.m. at home against Alabama A&M.
