Scored 270 points (10.4 per game) while collecting a team-best 243 rebounds (9.3 per game)... Finished the season in the top-five in the GSC in rebounds per game, and ended her career with 528 rebounds, 7th best in UWF history... Racked up six double-doubles on the season and blocked 35 shots, the 9th highest single season total in program history... Scored a season-high 19 points against Alabama-Huntsville (2/5)... Pulled down 16 rebounds against Tuskegee (12/30) and Valdosta State (1/27)... Blocked five shots, a career-high, against Harding (12/31) and Alabama-Huntsville (1/13)... Tied a career-high with three steals against Harding on New Year's Eve.
2009-10: Redshirted
2008-09: Made a big impact in her first year at UWF, playing in all 27 games and starting 25 while averaging 28.9 minutes per game... Gulf South Conference Player of the Week (1/28)... Named to the All-Tournament team at the West Florida Holiday Classic... Ranked fourth on the team with 11.9 points per game... One of the top rebounders in the country with 10.6 per game, ranking first on the team, first in the GSC, and 16th in NCAA Division II... Also led the team with a .622 field goal percentage and 34 blocked shots... Scored 12.8 points with 10.7 rebounds per game in GSC play... Finished with 11 double-doubles... Posted her first double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds in her UWF debut against Harding (11/15)... Shot 6-9 from the field and 6-7 from the free throw line with 12 rebounds for a double-double against Southern Arkansas (11/22)... Grabbed a career high 19 rebounds in two straight games on 12/29 and 12/30... Scored a career high 23 points with 16 rebounds against Loyola New Orleans (1/5)... Posted 19 points and 17 rebounds at Montevallo (1/22)... Shot 9-11 from the field and had 20 points and 15 rebounds at North Alabama (2/7).
2007-08: (Wallace State Community College-Hanceville) Played in 27 games in her sophomore season at Wallace-Hanceville, scoring 15.8 points and grabbing 9.9 rebounds per game... Also finished the season shooting .594 from the field... Earned first team all-conference and honorable mention All-America honors.
2006-07: (Pensacola Junior College) Saw action in 25 games in her freshman season at PJC, scoring 5.5 points per game with 5.5 rebounds per game as well... Played alongside UWF teammate Krissy Diggs.
High School: Lettered in basketball and volleyball at East Lawrence High School... Named MVP of the All-County Tournament her senior year... Named to the All-County team as well as All-Area team all four years... 2006 Decatur Daily Player of the Year... Member of Beta Club, Spanish Club, and Mu Alpha Theta.
Personal: Daughter of Billy Ray and Gloria Young... Has two sisters, Tiffany and Kimberly; both played basketball at the college level, as Tiffany played at Purdue and Kimberly at Southern Mississippi... Majoring in Psychology... Plans to attend nursing school and become an anesthetist nurse, as well as get married and start a family.
